REMINDER: Netherlands increases reduced VAT rate to 9%

From 1 January 2019, the Dutch tax authorities increased the reduced VAT rate from 6% to 9%. The reduced VAT rate applies to a number of different goods and services including accommodation, foodstuffs, pharmaceutical products, domestic passenger transport and books (excluding e-books).
