Sweden is proposing to introduce a VAT registration threshold for resident companies from 1 January 2017. Sole traders registered for VAT in Sweden now need to account for VAT using a VAT return rather than the income tax return. The tax office will accept a paper format (to be sent out 12 April onwards).
