VAT changes in 2015

Lithuania will be introducing the euro on 1 January 2015.

Also from 1 January 2015, the following VAT amendments are currently being discussed in the government:

VAT will apply at 5% to the following goods:

  • Freshly frozen meat and edible slaughterhouse waste;
  • Freshly chilled poultry;
  • Transport of animals, meat products and preparations
