VAT rate changes in Greece

On 1 October 2015 Greece abolished reduced VAT rates on six Islands, the start of their bid to streamline the VAT system as part of the country’s third bailout agreement. Changes to VAT rates will be rolled out across other islands with the aim of being fully implemented throughout the country by 1 January 2017.
