Welcome to our new VAT Compliance Director, Amar Kanabar

29 January 2026

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Amar Kanabar as VAT Compliance Director, strengthening our commitment to invest in global compliance capabilities and support our clients to navigate an increasingly complex and rapidly changing tax landscape.

Tax authorities across the world are frequently releasing new mandates on e-invoicing and real time reporting, fundamentally reshaping how businesses manage VAT. This includes the UK, which has confirmed it will introduce mandatory e invoicing from 2029, a move that reflects the broader global shift toward digital, transaction level reporting.
As compliance shifts from periodic filings to real time, technology driven reporting, organisations and professional services firms are under growing pressure to redesign processes, adopt new tools, and maintain agility in the face of constant regulatory change.

Amar’s role will focus on expanding our global VAT compliance practice, driving new areas of service growth and enhancing operational efficiency. He will also play a pivotal role in ensuring we continue to innovate, both in response to regulatory developments and to support clients adapting to this new era of digitalised indirect tax compliance.
With 17 years of experience, including 12 years at two Big Four accountancy firms, Amar brings deep expertise in building, scaling and transforming VAT compliance functions. His background and experience spans leading and expanding a global compliance business, as well as establishing a new VAT compliance service line that grew rapidly under his leadership.

His hands on experience positions him strongly to help our clients stay ahead of upcoming regulatory deadlines and operational challenge, while also enabling the firm to identify and capitalise on new market opportunities.

“We are delighted to welcome Amar to Fiscal Solutions. His extensive experience across complex cross-border VAT matters will be invaluable as we continue to support clients with growing compliance demands. Amar’s strategic perspective and understanding of the evolving technology landscape will help us further strengthen our compliance offering.”
- Darren Aldrich, Managing Director
