Change to Italian invoicing rules for digital suppliers

23 December 2015

Suppliers selling digital services to consumers in Italy will not have a requirement to produce locally VAT compliant invoices. This change will be backdated to take effect from 1 January 2015. This is also in an effort to bring Italian invoicing rules for these types of supplies in line with other EU member states.
