Spain cuts e-book VAT rate to 4%

The Spanish tax authorities confirmed that the VAT rate on digital publications (e-books) has been reduced from 21% to 4%. 

This change was implemented on 23 April 2020 and follows the EU Council’s proposal to allow EU member states to cut rates on electronic publications to match their printed equivalents. Please click here for the full article.
