UK to raise VAT registration threshold

1 April 2016

As of 1 April 2016 the UK VAT registration threshold for resident businesses will be increased from £82,000 to £83,000 per year.

This threshold only applies to UK-resident businesses as there is a nil registration threshold for non-resident businesses who would have to VAT register from the first sale that they make.
